Terms of Service

PAYMENT

Full payment is due after issuance of invoice for your cleaning.

Payment can be made via Zelle, Venmo or check. We do not accept cash. You will be charged the balance due, plus any fees, for each cleaning.

SCHEDULING - RESIDENTIAL

Recurring cleanings are scheduled according to our checklist and priorities discussed during your consultation. One-Time Cleanings are scheduled as standard blocks of time. Every effort will be made to complete your service within the time allocated. If you forego a deep clean at the commencement of your service, please note that it will take a few cleanings to confirm your ongoing maintenance needs. We ask for your patience while we learn how to best clean your space and assure you that our maintenance cleanings will address the areas in need of additional attention as quickly as possible. Some spaces may be subject to a first-time cleaning fee.

We strive to have the same technicians clean your home on a regular basis, however, this is not guaranteed. Due to vacation, illness or departure from the company, Dear Earth, LLC may occasionally provide a replacement technician(s).

If, due to the unique nature of your space, your service providers are unable to complete your cleaning within the amount of time requested, we may call you to ask for authorization to spend more time cleaning your home. We will inform you of additional costs accordingly before proceeding with the work. We reserve the right to charge additional fees to the final price of cleanings considered as heavy or inappropriate to the description of the home submitted at booking. To be safe, always check the information you entered into the booking form and remember that for us to perform our job you should leave the place uncluttered.

ARRIVAL WINDOWS

To ensure quality service for all valued clients, Dear Earth, LLC cannot specify exact arrival times. Arrival windows allow our technicians to handle all the variables of each day and each home without affecting the promises we make to you.

Service provider(s) will arrive within the following timeframes:

• When we have a key to the home, our arrival window is between 8am and 4pm.

• When we are meeting someone at the home, we will set a one-hour arrival window between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

24-HOUR GUARANTEE

Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. We are unable to offer a refund, but Dear Earth, LLC will happily re-clean any area that you are not satisfied with. Just let us know of any issues or concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will do our best to make it right.

GRATUITY

Dear Earth, LLC never requires you to tip, but it is a powerful way to say thanks to your technicians. Even posting an online review expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.

CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING

We understand it may be necessary to reschedule on occasion. If it is necessary to cancel or skip your scheduled service, Dear Earth, LLC requires notice of two business days. If we receive less than two business days’ notice, or if we cannot access your home or business, it will be necessary to charge you up to the full price of your cleaning. All future cleanings will remain unchanged. Please contact your local office directly to make schedule changes. Schedule or service changes may not be made through your technician.

Recurring services are priced at a discounted rate. Should you choose to cancel recurring service after only one cleaning, please note that our regular One-Time Cleaning charges will apply.

BREAKAGE/LOSS

At Dear Earth LLC, we take great care in handling your belongings with the utmost respect and professionalism. However, in the unlikely event of breakage or loss, we have a comprehensive policy in place to address any issues promptly and fairly. We are fully insured and committed to resolving any concerns to your satisfaction, ensuring peace of mind while we maintain the cleanliness and integrity of your space. 

SUPPLIES

Dear Earth, LLC uses safe and reliable eco-friendly cleaning supplies to clean your home or business. However, if you own special products that you would like to have used on particular surfaces, we are happy to accommodate your request. Please contact our office to discuss prior to your cleaning so we might provide instructions to your technician.

PETS

Please secure all pets in their travel crates or kennels. Dear Earth, LLC will treat all pets with love and respect; however, we cannot be responsible for their escape. 

SERVICE LIMITATIONS

For safety and insurance purposes, we do not climb higher than a two-step ladder.

We will attempt to reach all visible areas with either an extension duster or vacuum extension.

We cannot move items weighing more than 25 pounds.

We cannot touch or move firearms in order to clean an area. Clients who own firearms should move them to an area we do not clean.

Before we report to a new construction job site, all equipment, tools and/or debris must be removed. It is highly recommended that all work orders for construction have been completed before final clean up services have been provided. The final clean we provide is a very thorough and detailed deep clean in preparation for the new homeowners to move in. We place no guarantee on this type of service for the simple fact that most construction companies completely fail to adhere to this policy and usually have contactors working inside of the home while cleaners are attempting to clean it, as they clean some areas contractors create additional messes within areas of the home that the cleaning crew has already cleaned. We take no responsibility for the outcome of cleanings which fall under “NEW CONSTRUCTION”.
